verykool SL5000 Quantum Android Phone Review

Lisa Gade reviews the verykool SL5000 Quantum affordable unlocked Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone. This is a $229 GSM world phone with LTE 4G for both AT&T and T-Mobile. It will work on any GSM carrier for 2G and 3G when traveling overseas as well, but it’s not compatible with Sprint or Verizon (they don’t use GSM). The SL5000 has a 5” IPS 854 x 480 display and it runs on the 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU with Adreno 305 graphics and 1 gig of RAM. It has 2 gigs of available internal…

  1. This piece of shit of a phone copied the sencor element p501. they did cuz the sencor was so irrelevant they took advantage and released it again and there its known more.

  2. Not seeing any reason to buy this over the Moto G LTE. The resolution would be more tolerable if the phone was smaller and cheaper (sub-$100).

  3. Love your channel!!  Just wondering why you haven't reviewed the Oneplus One?  Much more important and interesting product then this thing…  Thanks!!

  4. This thing looks like a white galaxy S3… Given those specs, I would choose the GS3 over this phone.

  5. This phone is a turd for $229. It's just a rebranded $80 chinese OEM phone. You can probably find the exact same one on aliexpress for alot less.

  6. Unlocked phones work anywhere there's a GSM provider, that is very easy to switch the SM cards worldwide.

  7. I'm sorry but even with the low price that screen resolution is unacceptable, what would you pick this over a budget motorola phone.. at least your getting a top manufacturer and better specs even

  8. Overpriced is the key word. By the time it gets cheaper, the specs will be obsolete and other phones would come out with better specs and with the same price. Smh rather get a blackberry z10

  9. The company may be based in San Diego,CA but that doesn't negate the fact that this is basically a re-branded generic Android phone, probably from China.

  10. A Galaxy S4 / HTC One M7 / LG G2 can be had for roughly this price with FAR better quality & specs. This doesn't simply doesn't compute as a viable option.

  11. Is it just me or does this a little heavy in the "inspired by" galaxy s3 design? Lol its nearly identical but for a hard home key design wise…

  12. HI, I have a question anyone… do unlocked phones work outside the counrty??? Please help.. I live in mexico.

  13. @Lisa Off topic, but do you have any plans for the intriguing new OnePlus One "flagship killer" phone? I know they are hard to come by, but I'll be you could get one. It looks very promising and a price/spec ratio that is hard to beat.

  14. The default wallpaper on this phone is pretty much the ugliest thing I've ever seen, and it probably looks worse on such a low-density display. I can't imagine why anyone would buy this phone. Even the name 'Verykool' screams "cheap and crappy."
