The only thing I find time and time again, is multitudes of YouTube 'experts' throwing in their pennyworth of how to do this and how to do that, but I feel, fail to take into account the fundamental need of most beginners to this software, and that is…, what should the recommended base preference settings be to start off?? I've felt that a lot of the tutorials tend to 'assume' a level of competence already exists on various photoshop operations. So, no.., sorry.., that's not always the case for anyone who learns normally by 'doing' and works with guided explanation(s). Sorry, a bit long-winded… but where does it tell you what PS 2019 should look like after installing??? Setting up the preferences…., where's the explanations…, eh?? apparently, multiple settings you can set for this operation, so what is the default set-up??

  4. Hello there! Thank you for your Tutorial , it's helpful . My XP-Pen Deco Pro digital drawing tablet just arrived, before this moment I've done everything in Gimp but with the purchase of this drawing tablet I want to learn how to use Photoshop and how to paint in photoshop.
    Photoshop is a lot different than gimp and I have to learn the commands and different functions.

  25. YAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!!!!!! Great video , just a beginner & I'm not the most savvy on the pc YET either… gonna try the undo tool to see if that will work for what I need. i need to undo the erase feature. im exhausted so ill do it later… thank you soooo much

  39. Ok i do not get that home screen for some reason but i bought it of adobe. I also do not have the new document layout like you have. Im highly confused. Is it possible you, or anyone else, help me with this problem?

  40. Question; when I paste my photo into a new document, as seen in this video at 5:54, my photo is zoomed in, so I guess my measurements aren't correct, where can I view the measurements of my photo?
