  6. hey guys it does work for real, to get access to those menu
    your phone has to be running on 4.1.1 firmware
    do a downgrade if you are on a higher version firmware
    and follow the same steps and ya'll gonna be shocked
    to see it works,and these are the things they are not telling you
    after the unlock ya'll can go back to your original firmware of
    your choice as this is a permanent factory unlock.

  22. A word to the wise.

    if you have upgraded to 4.4 this will no longer work even if you flash a 4.1 stock rom. The baseband gets upgraded. Here is another IMPORTANT tip. Don't try to downgrade your modem/baseband because anything for 4.4 will not work and will clear your IMEI. I learned this the hard way. If you managed to make this mistake. just use odin and flash THE EXACT version of stock 4.4 you had.

    This is only for those who have never upgraded 4.1 and will only work on 4.1. If you are on a custom rom and cannot use a purchased unlock code, you can go back to a flashable stock rom and do it that way then restore your nandroid of your custom rom.
