actually, unless you have an amoled screen, the colors of the screen, whether they be dark or light, dont change how fast your battery drains.
so note to all readers, if you use a galaxy phone, darker themes and wallpapers will save battery life. however, if you are using an htc phone, such as the nexus one in this video, it wont matter any.
