After his impressions of a comedian named Marques (Katt Williams) make him an online sensation, Deandre (Jay Pharoah) goes to L.A. with dreams of stand-up stardom. But his girlfriend (Keke Palmer) needs him to be a stand-up guy and help raise their young son. Marques, the reigning king of comedy, isn’t about to give up his throne, and plots a rude-and hilarious- awakening for Deandre in this laugh-out-loud comedy with a heart.

  3. I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I was so happy to see all the heavy hitters in comedy get a lil shine. I could nitpick about wigs and small stuff but it's not as important as the overall messages. There was a positive overall theme throughout and I appreciated that they avoided some cliched outcomes. I will also show this film to my daughter when she gets older. The themes about legacy, integrity, receiving critical feed back and respecting those who paved the way for you are throughout. It should be added to a classic comedy list. Ok something positive is coming out of 2020… Lol Thank you 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

  9. Simply Hilarious!!!! I am telling everyone to watch this MOVIE!!! Great CAST, Great Script and the jokes was to scream for!!! I had real frfr moments in this movie. Jay Pharoah, I am glad you mentioned to stream it!!!!

  11. I love this movie even more cool seeing Katt Williams, Sinbad, DC Young Fly, Luenell, and George Wallace appeared onto the film. Purse any type of career is hard that takes years to get into the professional entertainment career of your dreams to come someday. I'm an aspiring actor, recording artist, writer, designer, photographer, and chef. One day I'm gonna purse something more than one gifted career I'll represent to the world

  28. I just rented this and it was really, really good!!! Funny and with a nice storyline. That scene with Katt and Jay was amazing. It was as if Katt was inadvertently speaking to himself and coming to terms with all his problems. Shit, that was therapy in a movie. Katt looks healthy and happy. Oh, and another thing, KeKe is a star! Great fucking job.
